My husband and I stayed at Long Bay Beach Villa for a family gathering, taking advantage of a special deal offered during their soft opening. It was the two of us, our daughter and son-in-law, and their three kids. Although we’re not big beach people, the kids and grandkids had an absolute blast. We visited all the major beaches, which were excellent. Almost all of them had bathrooms, and many had showers and concession stores. I particularly loved floating with the grandkids in the calm waters at Maho Bay.

The house was beautiful but one of my favorite spots was our private patio in the master suite, where I could relax and read my book. It was a perfect place to get away from the kids when they had their peak energy hours at the pool. From the balcony, I saw deer, goats, iguanas, and turtles, which were my favorites.

Someone had advised us to purchase all our food at Cost U Less in St. Thomas, which we did. The kitchen had everything I needed for the meals I prepared at home. We typically took snacks and drinks in a cooler to the beaches each day.

If you are looking for a place to host a large family gathering, Long Bay Beach Villa is an excellent choice. We look forward to coming again with both of my daughters and their families.
